The base map that auravant uses is “Bing Aerial with labels”.
The base maps do not have an agronomic value nor an absolute age, since they are made up of a mosaic of many images that were taken in different periods of time to give us a map with a very high resolution, precision and without clouds that affect it. We can realize this as we zoom in on the map and the images change.
The function of this type of maps is to provide us with the context in which we can begin to work and draw / locate our fields to begin receiving the historical and frequent images of the satellite indices.
It is possible that sometimes and depending on the area, the base map is outdated, thus changing the limits of some fields.
